Review submission rules
Reviews must reflect a real, first-hand experience with the vendor you're reviewing. We will publish a review even if it's a 1-star takedown of a vendor we have an affiliate relationship with — honesty matters more than commission.
- Real experience required.Reviewing a vendor you haven't actually ordered from is grounds for permanent ban.
- One review per vendor per email per 90 days. Multiple reorders welcome — write a new review when something material changes.
- No personal information about vendor staff. Names, addresses, social profiles — all removed on sight.
- No medical claims about the peptide itself."It cured my X" gets edited to "I researched it for X." Required by the FDA framing for research compounds.
- No threats, slurs, or doxxing. Removed without warning.
What unlocks a Verified Buyer badge
- Email verification — required for every review.
- Order proof (date of order + confirmation email or order number) — unlocks the Verified Buyer badge that appears on your review.
- Photo of vial label or HPLC result (coming soon) — unlocks an additional verification badge.
Vendors caught flagging real reviews as "not a customer" when the reviewer can produce order proof lose their verification badge publicly.
Vendor verification standards
A vendor with the green verified badge has met the following minimum bar:
- They are an active business — orders are being fulfilled, the website is live, customer support replies.
- We have placed at least one test order through the public checkout and confirmed shipping, packaging, and product authenticity independently.
- For higher-tier verification (HPLC badge), the vendor publishes third-party certificates of analysis for at least 80% of their catalog.
Verification can be revoked. If a verified vendor stops shipping, starts soliciting fake reviews, or makes claims that contradict their published data, the badge is removed and a notice is published on the profile.
How we detect review manipulation
- Coordinated review bursts (large numbers of 5★ reviews in a short window from new accounts).
- IP and device fingerprint clustering (multiple reviews from the same network or browser).
- Linguistic fingerprinting (LLM-assisted detection of templated or generated content).
- Vendor-employee reviews (cross-checked against publicly known employee email domains).
Editorial conflict of interest
VialVerdict editorial staff cannot accept gifts, free product, payment, or any other consideration from vendors listed on the site. When a staff member reviews a vendor in a personal capacity, the review is flagged as "Editorial review" and excluded from aggregate ratings.
Disputes
Vendors who believe a review violates these guidelines can flag it through their claimed profile. We review every dispute within 5 business days. If we agree, we remove the review and notify the reviewer. If we disagree, the review stays — and the dispute outcome is recorded against the vendor's profile so reviewers know how previous flags were handled.
